The
TOEFL iBT is an internet based test that measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written and heard in college and university settings. The TOEFL score is a mandatory pre-requisite to get admission into universities in USA, UK, Singapore and a few other countries.
Always check the website of the University you wish to join to know if they accept TOEFL scores and what scores are acceptable. Each University fixes up a cut off TOEFL score for admission.
Scoring in TOEFL
You will be evaluated in your performance in the Reading, Listening,Speaking and Writing sections and the scoring for each section is as follows:

| Take a 1 hour online mock test, to familiarize yourself with the test (Reading, Listening and Writing) and get yourself evaluated.
Take a full length speaking test only for 20-30 minutes.
